Silver Landings

I'm chasing after the quiet Watching sunlight hit the dust Missing connections, changing directions Waiting for something or someone to trust I'm sitting at a piano That I don't even know how to play Old conversations, new revelations No one to hear what I'm trying to say Stars tell fortunes that aren't really there The lonely keep on dancing Reaching for golden ribbons up in the air But I'm looking for silver landings The past drifted out into orbit But I'm back in the atmosphere I'm spinning around, guess I'm still falling down Part of me's missing, and part of me's here Stars tell fortunes that aren't really there The lonely keep on dancing Reaching for golden ribbons up in the air But I'm looking for silver landings I've been unpacking my suitcase Ever since I was a kid I wanna stay home but I know that I won't I keep looking out when I need to look in Stars tell fortunes that aren't really there The lonely keep on dancing Reaching for golden ribbons up in the air But I'm looking for silver landings Oh, I'm looking for silver landings
